Each day, a different artist/instructor will provide step-by-step instructions to create a handmade scroll inspired by their artistic approach and style. All artwork will be on display from January 18 – February 19, 2022. Faux Fun:Create a copy of a masterwork with your own twist! Masterworks should be well known so that viewers are able to understand the ‘spoof’ of it. The museum has even provided a list of recommendations for inspiration. Artists can create as many artworks as they wish to donate and both 2D and 3D artwork is welcome. Please do not modify the size or edges or create parts that stick out beyond 6”x6”. For those who are interested in participating and would like more information, please email the Grants Pass Museum of Art at [email protected]. ![]() Truth to Power Club, Untitled, Mural Peter Finkle, Walk AshlandBIPOC Celebration MuralTuesday, November 23 Join the Truth to Power Club at Ashland High School to dedicate a new public art mural to Ashland High School student, Aidan Ellison, who was shot and killed last November 23. In addition to serving as a memorial, the mural also celebrates Rogue Valley Black, Indigenous, and People of Color who have made and continue to make a positive difference in our community.
