AGA shares a handful of fun and diverse art opportunities that are being offered in November and December to foster your inner creativity. 

Schneider Museum of Art
Intuitive Nature – Geometric Roots and Organic Foundations


Join the Schneider Museum of Art for a Tuesday Tour of their current exhibition, Intuitive Nature – Geometric Roots and Organic Foundations. Featuring the work of eight different artists who engage in abstract and contemporary painting and sculpture, each brings with them a personalized set of tools that reflect their intuitional play on geometric roots and organic reflections. Tours are limited to twelve individuals and registration is highly recommended.

It features a series of documented visual art performances by Beca Blake and her family about survival in the local landscape. Her exhibition also explores place-ness and placeless-ness statements with physical, mental, and/or emotional components tied to stories about the past, present, and future survival through the lens of contemporary modernity culture.

Featuring over fifty artists and craftspeople who have selected their most gift-worthy work, there will be everything from clothing and accessories to pottery, photography, woodwork, and more. There will also be live music, food, and beverages to enjoy throughout the days.

This workshop is intended for those who have taken a workshop with Sarah in the past. It is also limited to four individuals.

We believe that the communities of Ashland, Talent, Phoenix, Medford, and beyond hold a vast population of passionate and talented visual artists, creative studios, galleries, and art loving businesses, and if joined together, have the power to transform Southern Oregon into a premier arts destination by forming a strong, vibrant, and fun visual arts community.
