Join the Grants Pass Museum of Art and Gabriel Lipper to learn more about how to harness the power of color and design. Offering a demonstration that outlines Gabriel’s entire process of merging abstract playgrounds with representational elements, individuals will have the opportunity to experience his creative process from start to finish while engaging in active dialogue.

Join Catalyst Ashland and Beca Blake to learn more about her current exhibition, Road Food. Expressing performance art by draping themselves with novelty food blankets bought on Amazon, Beca and her family made a statement about survival in relation to consumption, place, time, and humanity in both rural and urban settings while traveling among artifacts of culture in the western states of North America.

The Haines & Friends Visual Arts Grant Program
2023 Grant Cycle Application Available! Deadline to Apply: Wednesday, August 30

The Haines & Friends Visual Arts Grant Program is thrilled to announce that it will provide a 2023 Grant Cycle. Offering grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 to visual artists and arts educators based in Southern Oregon, use of grant funds by these individuals may include original and new works of private/public art, the purchase of supplies and equipment for personal experiences, educational offerings, and more.

Participate in Ashland Open Studio Tour!
Deadline to Register: Friday, September 1

Exciting News! Ashland Open Studio Tour is BACK! Now in its tenth year, and taking place on Saturday and Sunday, October 21 and 22 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., this is a fun and unique opportunity for visual artists to open their studios and workspaces to the public and show off their creativity. 

AGA Members who are based in Ashland, Talent, and Phoenix are eligible to participate. This includes Artist Members, Working Studios, Artists Represented by a Gallery Member, or Artists Represented by a Neighboring Arts Organization.
