Abstract Vision: A Journey Through Self Expression works by Alx Fox
“This show represents a gathering of images that illustrate my passion for emotional expressing through color. My images evolve from a desire to experiment with color while allowing the laters to develop freely on their own with no previous background drawings being used. I wish to share my journey with the hope that you enjoy as much as I enjoyed creating it.”

Fine Pencil Art and Graphic Design by Local Artist Matthew Bohn.
This show will be displayed through August. As Matthew took private drawing lessons and his love for pencil art flourished. After about a year, he started to develop the skills that were taught to him and incorporated them into his own drawing style. It has been Matthew’s goal to affect the world of art by picking a variety of subjects (ranging from nature to people, from renaissance to pop culture), each will hopefully catch someone’s attention and cause them to stop and think about God, who created it first.

Thread as Line, Fabric as Form This show will open on August 6 and run through September 30, 2013
What appear to be lines of colored ink and brush strokes of paint are in fact cotton and silk thread embroidery by Kay Khan. Vessels, three dimensional figurative pieces, wall hangings and apparel are all basic forms that become the starting point for imaginative and obsessive embroidered fine art.

August Featured Artist – Darcie Sternenberg
Darcie Sternenberg is a fine art black and white photographer living in southern Oregon. She focuses on intimate landscapes, including forests and seascapes, but she also photographs forgotten or left behind objects. In a world full of beautiful colors, photography, in the absence of color, is a departure from reality.
She uses tone and form to capture a sense of timelessness as well as invite the viewer to a quiet, contemplative place.
