The Creator’s Gallery and Studio is offering a few gallery spaces to Art Presence members. You may exhibit your work in the gallery for two weeks with no usual hanging fees and no need to sit the gallery.
There will be 25% commission on sales. Please call Anna Chauffe, the gallery owner, at 541-944-9787 to make an appointment to have your work seen and set up a date to hang your work.

Congratulations to Jaime Byrn of Williams, Oregon for winning the 2012 World of Wine Poster Competition. Thank you to all the participants who submitted artwork for this event. This work will be on display at this year’s event held at Bigham Knoll in Jacksonville, Oregon on August 26 & 27, 2011.

Dear Art-loving Friends,
I’m writing to ask for permission to share your email with an artist group in Jacksonville called Art Presence. I’m a member of the group and enjoy participating in many of their Jacksonville art events to promote my work, enrich the community’s atmosphere and increase awareness of our own talented creatives with greater visibility of locally created fine art.
Many of these art events occur in conjunction with another exciting Jacksonville event. Examples include the recent “Taste of Summer”, celebrating the opening of the 2011 Britt Music Festival season and the upcoming World of Wine Festival; in addition, the newly revived Fourth Friday Art Amble happens monthly from May through October in partnership with the local businesses of Jacksonville.
Because I know you’re a true art lover, I think you’d enjoy receiving advance notification about Art Presence events so you can enjoy attending some of them. I could forward the email announcements I receive from them to all of you, but it would save me a lot of “creation time” if Art Presence could email you directly, along with the art enthusiasts on the lists of other member artists, to let you know when an event is coming up. Forwarding these announcements to your own list would be an easy way to invite friends to join you - You’d be helping to promote my art and the lovely work of my Art Presence friends, too!
With that in mind, I invite you to add yourself to their list. You won’t be inundated with frequent emails, and they won’t share your email address with anyone else. Please RSVP to me and I’ll pass your address along to them.

With the second Art Amble under way, I think we can look forward to a
good summer season. I have some new ideas brewing on how to reach
our viewing audience each month and look forward to discussing with
everyone at our meeting on Tuesday, June 28, 5pm at the Jacksonville Library.

Mexico Vacation (Memory Series)
Second Art Amble had repeat customers! I saw many of my clients as well, some going off to Britt, some attending the Art Amble. Everyone is so supportive. I look forward to next month. I will be exhibiting oil paintings from my “Memories” series at Corks Wine Bar, and a couple of new encaustic paintings at Jacksonville Barn. Be sure to stop by! Hopefully my tennis elbow will be all healed and I will be doing a demo painting.
Great work on Art Amble I, everyone! Sorry I didn’t get more pictures, there just wasn’t enough time to get to each location. Fortunately I had taken a few shots at the LodeStar and GoodBean ahead of time. If anyone else has pictures, please send them to me and I’ll add them to the gallery!
