flyer why the arts matter may 21 Continue reading Art Matters Salon and Panel Discussion at RGAC May 21! “Threads to New Worlds—A Collection of Fiber Arts” will be opening on Friday, May 3rd at Art Presence in Jacksonville. This juried show features 30 pieces of fiber art created by 24 artists from Oregon. Art Presence is located at 206 North Fifth Street in Jacksonville. The hours for this show are 11:00am until 5:00pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in May, as well as on Memorial Day. An opening reception will be held on Friday May 10th with hors’doeurves and drinks at the gallery from 5pm-7pm. Ths beautiful pastel is by Ruth Heath, a member of Art Presence, come and see her work during the month of April 
Sue Bennett, a member of Art Presence did this treasure. She has created some beautiful watercolor pieces using a new surface. Come and see this work at Art Presence Art Center during the month of April.

The photography of Ron and Dee Moore is a joy to behold, every subject matter appeals to them. They are exhibiting their work at Art Presence Art Center in the main gallery in April. 
Patrick Beste is an abstract painter, who is a member of Art Presence, visit the gallery and see more of his work during the month of April. Tom Glassman, fortunately for us, sees things in a unique and stunning way, then shares them so that we may have that “aha” moment.
