I love to nuno felt and make unique one-of-a-kind garments and accessories. I have been venturing into making vests and must say that I get nervous about cutting into the felt to construct a garment. I worry about bulges and losing the beautiful drapey characteristic of nuno. Sewing and construction are not my strongest suits, [...] 
This past November, I saw an interesting class posted at The Websters in Ashland, Oregon for a needle felted gnome class. I knew how to needle felt, but I never worked with 3-D needle felting so I thought I would give it a try. I made a really cute gnome and named him Irving… 
I took a class with Diane Ericson on up-cycling or re-purposing clothing. I turned a beautiful linen skirt into a spectacular tunic top. Thinking outside the box really stretches my creativity. I would love to hear comments or see pictures of pieces you may have up-cycled.
