The Southern Oregon Artists Resource proudly extends a warm welcome to Cherie Reneau, owner of Élan Guest Suites & Gallery in Jacksonville.

Élan’s fine art gallery extends from the main entry into each room, offering our guests a more intimate view of oil paintings by local masters. Portraits, plein-air, landscapes and figure paintings invite our guests to linger in a State of the Art. Élan is also the ultimate setting for intimate dinners, swanky cocktail parties, and private business meetings.

Élan proudly features artist Gabriel Mark Lipper as its resident artist. His plein-air oil paintings, currently on display, reflect the purple hills, woodland trails, shimmering lakes and rolling rivers found close to his home in Ashland, Oregon. Gabriel’s frozen moments in time communicate the ineffable. Whether he is pushing or limiting his palette, the versatility of his craftsmanship is evident. With several public murals and paintings housed in numerous collections, Gabriel takes care to balance his time between both commissions and studio work. When asked which he prefers he replied, “It’s all painting. Painting is what I love.”

Élan Guest Suites and Gallery is southern Oregon’s premier boutique travel accommodation and art gallery.
