About the author: My work is a contrast of abstract design with geometric order. I’m drawn to repeating images and tend to build those into my work, while at the same time, I like looser brushstrokes and flowing lines. To me, that feels similar to life. You organize and schedule life, but there are so many unexpected life events. It’s a mix of order and chaos. ~ Cammy Davis

I went hiking through the Jville Woodland’s today with friend Jeanena and Immy. Nature will always be my best creative inspiration. I’ve thought about doing a series of paintings using images from Jacksonville, only not the typical historical building images, but little images that appeal to me graphically. These are the ones I shot today, not sure if they will make the grade, but today they inspired.
