Candy Wooding with her Paste Paper Creations During the August First Friday Art Walk, 5 – 8 pm, Artist Candy Wooding – Studio 12 in the Ashland Art Center (357 E Main St, Ashland, OR) - will demonstrate her Paste Paper technique that she uses to create a wide variety of art pieces, such as folded boxes and books. Diane Ericson with her Red Bike Apron The Summer Arty Apron Workshop with Diane Ericson For cooking, gardening or fashion, the apron is a great canvas to let your creative ideas run wild. Bring trims, notions, vintage lace and linens – or maybe some old Levi’s, rolled up paintings on canvas you’ve been storing in the garage – all perfect starters for your unique apron design. You may want to include a theme, such as Asian designs or homage to a beloved pet. Fun and easy to make, participants will get three apron patterns to trace off in class.
