Plein Air Oil Painting by Stefan Baumann

Six years ago Stefan’s desire to live in a place of natural beauty and to paint what he loves with integrity brought him to the Shasta Forest where he paints stunning views of Northern California and Oregon in his home/studio in Mt. Shasta. He shares his talent, knowledge, and enthusiasm for art with others by featuring his artwork at the Gallery in Mt. Shasta and Central Art Supply Studio and offering weekly oil painting classes in Medford, Mt. Shasta, and Redding. He also posts a monthly blog with plein air paintings, offers 3-day outdoor painting workshops in Mt. Shasta, and his series called “The Grand View” airs periodically on local Create TV and PBS stations.
