This wonderful first annual event promises to become a lot of fun as a regular feature of the downtown Medford artscape each June. Please find more information in the Festival’s listing. There is an active Call to Artists out for the festival which local artists would want to respond to, regardless of their specialty; the deadline to apply is April 15. Not only will this become a great community event, but a wonderful way to help promote your art and your classes, as students of teaching artists may participate in a team led by the artist they study under. Residents and those planning to visit the area in June – Heads up! You’ll want to attend this event and see what local artists do with their 8′ x 8′ chalk art on the sidewalks of historic downtown Medford! The event is still so young it does not yet have a website, so please take a moment to check out the listing and share with friends!
